Multi disciplinary craft installation created with raw organic threads in fine needle techniques and raw linework to create the vibration and energy of a chant through the movement of threads. The other techniques used in the installation include couching, fine needle zardosi work to create a Sfumato effect - A technique of allowing tones and colours to shade gradually into one another, producing softened outlines or hazy forms.
